If you play with the instrument pointing significantly downwards, in some cases this can force you into an unnatural neck and head position, creating tension and discomfort after many hours of practice, rehearsals or performances.
It can also happen that the position of the instrument does not allow the mouthpiece to reach the lips comfortably and naturally, which may affect the vibration of the lips.
Romera Brass CURVED mouthpieces have been designed specifically for these situations.
With a 35° curve, they allow the mouthpiece to reach your lips without constantly having to adjust the position of your head or your instrument.
