Collection: Spanish Brass

With more than 33 years of experience in the world of music, Spanish Brass is one of the most dynamic and consolidated chamber groups on the international music scene.

In 1996 he won First Prize at the 6th Ville de Narbonne International Brass Quintet Competition (France), considered the most prestigious for this group. In 2017 he received the I Bankia Award for Musical Talent in the Valencian Community and in 2019 the Espai Ter de Música de Torroella de Montgrí Award. He has to his credit four Carles Santos awards granted by the Valencian Institute of Culture, for his CDs XXX and See if we hit the ground running... (2019), The Adventures of Monsieur Jules (2020) y Spanish Brass (a) LIVE (2021).

In 2020 he received the National Music Award in the modality of Interpretation granted by the Ministry of Culture of Spain.

In addition to having published thirty recordings, including three double CDs, He has participated in some of the most important music festivals, and tours the world, has played at the Prince of Asturias Awards gala in 1995 and has recorded the music for the play The foundation by Buero Vallejo for the National Dramatic Center and the film's soundtrack defrostby Felix Sabroso.

At the same time, Spanish Brass organizes two international festivals dedicated to brass instruments: the Alzira Spanish Brass Festival and the Brassurround, where leading international soloists, groups and metal teachers meet every year.

They play on Shires trumpets and trombone, Paxman horn and Melton tuba and with the new BlackBinder app. Spanish Brass uses and owns the Bags brand of instrument cases and plays with Romera Brass mouthpieces and mutes.

In addition, it receives support from the Valencian Institute of Culture and the Ministry of Culture-INAEM.
